5 steps to help you focus on your priorities
Everyone is so busy these days, we can really be veryproductive. Yet how many times do we feel like we worked on the wrong stuff or we didn't focus on our priorities? In my short video this week I share my 5 steps to help you focus on your priorities so at the end of the day and the end of the week- you feel great about where you spent your valuable time.
We feel more accomplished, more successful, better about ourselves and our choices when we focus our limited resources (our time, energy and money) on the activities we have deemed our priorities. Priorities are what we have defined for ourselves as activities and things we deem important to us professionally and personally. Don't judge yourself for your choices- own up to them and be mindful and aware that they are your choices.
I give you 5 simple steps to help you define and stay focused on your professional and personal priorities. My 5 steps are straightforward and require you simply think about a few things before you make a change or take action. Typically, my clients feel these 5 strategies shift their perspective about their priorities and change their awareness so they can take action wherever there seems to be a disconnect between what they are actually doing and what they want to be doing.
If you want to see what your priorities really are- look at your calendar and in your checkbook. Don't be hard on yourself and your choices. You can get back on track if you are off track. Watch my video again and see if you can make a change or two or three and get back to focusing your time and energy and money on your priorities.
I know you really want to spend time on the people and activities and things you believe are important. I share with you my 5 steps to help you focus on our priorities.
