You are actually costing your business money when you are doing the shipping, social media, bookkeeping and other tedious tasks that others do really well, and FASTER than you. In this age of hiring freelancers through Elance and FivvR, you can hire people by the hour who have the ability and the desire to do those tasks faster than you and that means they are actually cheaper than you for your business. The more you can charge for what YOU do- the more money your business brings in. Spend LESS time on the tedious tasks and spend MORE time on what you do really well, that no one else can do- providing the product or service that only YOU can provide the world. Undoubtedly you have figured out what you do really well that drives revenue into your business (it is probably exactly the skill that made you start your own business!), you have figured out how to monetize it (you make a salary doing it or you run a business because of it) and spend 80% of your time doing that! If you have to pay experts to FIX things, or you pay someone to do something over, or you pay a lawyer to defend you from paying MORE to an ex employee- you have cost your business thousands of dollars and profits. If you are paying bad hires, or paying for bad accounting- you are costing your business valuable profits. Paying experts ahead of time SAVES you thousands of dollars in the long run for your business. THAT increases business and your revenue!
